![]() He formed a pretty cool relationship with Michonne. He was just a kid in the early seasons, and he learned how to shoot and take care of himself. ![]() But he didn't, for reasons we still don't understand.īasically, Carl should be way more cool than he is at this point. He was the only guy in the room with a gun. In the last episode he had a chance to take out Negan and a couple of his goons. It's just that bad.Īnd Carl isn't doing himself any favors either. Carl himself might not be the #1 most annoying character (maybe he'd rank at #3 or #4) but when you add that hideous mop it can't be helped. Carl's Hair isn't actually a character-not yet, anyways. Okay, in fairness this is kind of a joke. I can barely stand him these days, and he used to be one of the best, most reliable characters on the show.Ĭhandler Riggs as Carl Grimes (Credit: Gene Page/AMC) He didn't bother to hide any guns to use in a future fight with the Saviors, either, instead tracking down every last pistol (which he bizarrely had cataloged) and even Michonne's sniper rifle to give to his enemy. He's had numerous chances to take the new Big Bad out, but he's squandered all of them. He's lucky he didn't lose more of his friends and family in the process.Īnd now he's worse than ever before. Rick went in blindly, taking his people with him on a suicide mission. He didn't bother to find out if it was a fight he could win, or who Negan was, or how many enemies they'd face. His decision to attack Negan and the Saviors is why Glenn and Abraham are dead. His screw-ups are so enormous and so avoidable you could practically write a book on what not to do in a leadership role based entirely on his actions. Why anyone in the group still lets him lead is beyond me. Rick is just a terrible, terrible, no good, awful, very bad, seriously misguided leader.
